BraSpecS is nothing more than the demonstration of some practical applications possible from a spectral soil library, in this case BSSL.

BraSpecS operation

BraSpecS was created in order to facilitate the use of spectral data of soils by different types of users, who work or develop research with soils in Brazil. It also allows a friendly and practical first contact with spectral information, thus stimulating the search for more in-depth studies for those who are interested, in addition to stimulating applications of the use of epectroscopic techniques. It is also possible to learn interactively how soils are seen from the perspective of their spectral data in a quali-quantitative way, that is, to understand the spectral behavior of different soils and how to use it as information or as a given base to obtain other information.
